Through the FTE 21st CCLC Friday Enrichment Program, these young leaders used Minecraft and AI to design sustainable, inclusive communities of the future. They didn't just compete—they showed the world what Ft. Thomas/Bylas communities looks like! 🌎💡

FTHS: There have been a few updates to this weeks schedule of events. HS Volleyball will play at Patagonia on 11/4 (Tues) and the HS Construction Days field trip was canceled.

Cross Country Sectionals are on Wednesday this week at Rio Rico.

Race Times: Boys: 6:00pm
Girls: 6:30pm

Please allow yourself enough time to walk from the east and west parking lots up at the main high school entrance, down the switchback (zig zag ramp), and to the bottom.

FTUSD: Due to the current road closure all FTUSD schools will be closed today, 10/21. The HS Volleyball game for today is still scheduled and will be JV-4:00 & V-5:00. Thank you.

FTUSD Community: We are aware that there is an accident near Rez Line that has closed the road. The road is expected to be closed for several hours. We are in communication with law enforcement and school is on hold with a possible late start. We will send updated bus schedules when more information is available.

Looking for a fun, enriching way to introduce your little ones to early literacy through singing, playing, reading, writing and talking? Join us for the Gowa: Teachable Moments for Apache Children literacy drop-in event—designed just for families with young children ages 0 to 5!

📅 Date: September 8th and 22nd
🕒 Time: 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
📍 Location: Mt Turnbull Academy Robert G. Olivar Learning Center

🎟️ Free • Family-Friendly • Drop In Anytime during the hour!

This early literacy event is filled with gentle, engaging activities that support learning through play and connection. Bring your toddlers and preschoolers to explore:

Families will receive free books and literacy resources to take home, and kids will have the chance to connect with caring educators in a space rooted in culture, language, and joy.

💬 “Gowa” means “home” in Apache—and this event is all about creating a loving foundation for learning, right from the start.

FTUSD: During the water outage in Bylas, Fort Thomas JH Gym and Mt. Turnbull Elementary School Multi-purpose Room are available today. Both locations have restrooms and air conditioning!
