FTHS: The past few weeks have been busy. We have a newly crowned MIFT, Kaylee Hinton! State FFA officers came and presented awards for FFA. Seniors participated in an Informal Interview day – special thank you to all who took time out of their day to interview our students. Also our annual NHS & Scholarship Banquet was held last night - THANK YOU to all organizations and individuals who supported our students with scholarships and awards.

A new era begins at the diamond!

We are officially naming the FTUSD softball field Barbara Stauffer Field in honor of a true legend. Coach Stauffer didn't just spend 16 seasons coaching softball; she poured her heart into our basketball, volleyball, and track programs, shaping generations of athletes along the way.

A huge thank you to Freeport-McMoRan Copper and representative Sean Wenham for the grant that made our field upgrades possible, and to muralist Adriene Wakefield for the incredible work on our dugouts!

The highlight of the day? Watching Coach Stauffer throw the first pitch to our senior captain, Treyiah Declay. The legacy continues!
